Summer is definitely in the air now. Although this did happen.
Yep, hailstones the size of peas in mid June. But today was 82 and not a cloud!
The unofficial start to summer was last week, when Grady finished up his school year. We were very proud of Grady, who got up on stage with his class and performed a dance, song, and poem in French for an audience of about 100 parents. He was really scared and overwhelmed by it last December, so it was great to see him up there without getting upset this time. We had a pretty perfect last day of school - playground, ice cream, sprinkler run - doesn't get much better than that.
He has been off this week, but starts camps next week. He is in every day - a first for him - but done at 12:30. I will be interested to see how it goes.
The other big news is that Theo rolled for the first time this week! He was peacefully protesting tummy time until very recently, so this was a pretty exciting development!
We also got to celebrate Matt this month on Father's Day. The kids painted some rocks for him for the garden, and helped pose for and then decorate a photograph for him.
Reasons for why Daddy is loved include that he takes good care of the grass and he loves Mommy so much. I think then the reasons devolved into talking about what was on the table.
Theo woke up four times last night, and I will blame that on my inability to think of a single other thing that happened in the past few weeks. I hope you will be appeased by these.
