Halloween

We had a pretty quiet first Halloween yesterday.  We were planning to go to our neighborhood's "Monster March," where kids dress up in costume and march around town.  However, Grady was pretty pooped from his swimming lesson, so we didn't make it over until it was pretty much done.  We still have some pictures, though!

And then we gave Grady his first candy. 

Maybe next year we'll take it out of the wrapper.

Grady stayed up for the first few trick or treaters, but couldn't stay up for the whole thing.  We had a good number - maybe 40 or so. 

I'm sad to have to retire the Grumpy Bear outfit.  Hopefully they make one in size 18 months for next year!
