3 months old! Plus urology appointment

Today Grady is three whole months old!

He's looking less and less like a little infant and more and more like a chubby baby.

He's also really found his smile! It's one of his favorite things to do!

In the past month, Grady has made huge improvements on his tummy time.

He has also gotten much better at grasping onto objects.

Four guesses where those objects are headed....

And one more -

In less adorable news, Matt, Grady and I met with the urologist today to discuss the results of the ultrasound last week. The good news is that Grady's kidney functioning levels overall are great. The urologist thinks, though, that most of the work is being done by the left kidney. The upper right kidney appears to be completely nonfunctioning, and it is unclear how much functioning is going on in the bottom right kidney. We have to take Grady in for another procedure (to be scheduled next week), during which they will perform tests so that they can see exactly how much functioning is in the left versus the right kidney. He will have to be sedated for this again, but because he's older now he shouldn't have to stay over night. We're really hoping for greater than 25% functioning on the right side or we will have to discuss removal of that kidney. We will keep you posted as we hear more.
